I'm Mollie, I really don't like my name, I'd prefer Molly, simply because people tend to spell my name that way, and I give up with saying 'there's an I and E at the end of my name, not a Y'..
Everytime I hear Florence&The Machine, it makes me want to cry.
It's a known fact about me, I listen to her album 'Lungs' at least twice a day, Florence's
voice is pure beauty.
I'm quite a big fan of The Horrors, you know? Those five skinny men with the beautiful faces and a world of talent?
Yeah, them.
I saw them live twice in 2009, the first time was at Underage Festival with one of my best
friends, Beth, we danced about, met a few famous people and ate chips.
The Second time was in Bristol's 02 Academy.
That's where I met them for the first time, backstage if I might add.
My other best friend, Lily got to take two friends backstage, so she picked me and my other
best friend, Bethan. It was really amazing, the boys are really friendly and their hugs are really nice, we sat and spoke with Joe and Josh the most, about various things, like; school, horrible people, America, and dying. It started off weird, what, with Joe attempting to sit on a cardboard box,
then Josh laughing at him, then their manager grabbing Joe a real chair to sit on. It was one of
the best experiences I've had, and to Lily, am I forever thankful.
She's a really amazing friend to be honest, she helps me with my work when I'm stuck, and she'll
give me advice when I ask, and her new kitten is gorgeous.
That's another factor about me, I don't have a huge amount of friends, but the ones I have are
actually the best, they always find a way to cheer me up when I'm down.
I think this part of my blog should be dedicated to my best friends-
Bethan Hortop - I've known her for over a year, but we're amazing friends, and usually spend our Saturdays over each others house eating pizza and watching Tim Minchin live, she's an amazing friend, and she likes Joshua Hayward quite a lot. I love Bethan! Her scream is the best scream you will ever hear, and if you ever need help with getting bees out of your house, just call me and her, we'll be on the job. Just don't let us near microwaves or butter, we caused a fire last time..
Lily Beth James - I've mentioned Lily, but she still can be in my little list, here! I've known Lily just over a year as well, we're really good friends, and can just banter on about just about anything! Lily is really fun to be around with, and she seems to always have a smile on her face! She makes me smile and Tinchy Stryder's song 'Stryderman' is about her and Faris Badwan, don't you know? I love Lily! And I can't wait for her to get her Christmas present from me, yes I know, it's very late, but it's hard when we live in different countries!
Rose Harris - This girl is amazing, swear to god, if you need help with art or writing, she's the one to go to! She's really lovely, and always here for me, and she loves Rhys and Huw Webb, but refuses to pick between them. She used to like Joe Spurgeon quite a bit, but since we both met them, she seems to have gone for my old favourite, Rhys, and I seem to have gone for Joe!
Beth Champness - We've had some times, oh yes. Underage Festival was the best, we saw loads of acts, and had huge fun, but this is Beth's bit, not Underage's! She's an amazing friend, and probably the best groupie you will ever meet. She could step outside her house, and within 10 minutes she would of met someone famous. She's not afraid to stand up to anyone, and will speak her mind, for this I respect her so much. She fancies Joshua Hayward, too, and her boyfriend looks like him!
Zoe Jade Shute - I've only known Zoe half a year, but she's a really great friend! I swear to god, she should be a comedian, she's always making me laugh with her silly banters about how she'll punch some girl's face in for something, or even, walking past Faris Badwan without realising and going 'LOOK, IT'S FARIS ON THE TOILET'. Zoe is amazing!
Bethan Louise Collins - I adore this girl! Seriously, she's an amazing friend! She has a huge fear of Joseph Spurgeon, a fear I will never fully understand, she also has a fear of butter melting on crumpets. She's hilarious, especially when she forgets to take her ADHD tablets, she's bouncing off the walls! We've had immense fun, we've gone to gigs together, and will be going to some quite soon! We spend our P.E lessons hiding at the back singing Lady Gaga and Beyonce, and hide from teachers. She's amazing! We share a birthday as well, dont you know?
Rebecca Collins - We also share a birthday! Well, seeing as Rebecca and Bethan are twins, it would seem to suggest we all have the same birthdays! Rebecca is hilarious, and I don't think I've ever seen a teenager more in love, her and Tyler(her boyfriend) are really cute together! I don't spend a lot of time with Rebecca, but she's still amazing!
Harriet Connell - We've only met once! But, she's one of my best friends ever, she's truly amazing, she always puts a smile on my face! We met on a forum for Robots In Disguise and The Mighty Boosh, then we met in person at the Robots In Disguise fanclub gig in Camden! Harriet is amazing!
Horum Girls - I love these girls so much! They're all really funny, and make me smile in various different ways, whether it's Rhiannon posting on twitter about her every day crazy-ness, or Emma and Chloe's stories! They're all equally amazing, and I'm so happy that I met them, without them, I actually don't think I'd be who I am, they've changed me, but for the best. I can't wait to meet them all fully at Underage Festival 2010! It's going to be amazing! Love you girls!
Daisy Shayler - Daisy is amazing! I adore her! The first time we met was Underage Festival, but the first time we saw each other was at Hay Festival, I was walking to get a book, and I noticed a familiar face go past me, I turned around and it was Daisy! We didn't get to properly speak, but we did smile and wave at each other. That day I met Jo Whiley, aswell! So, that was a great day! At Underage Festival we kept missing each other, until The Horrors came on, we bumped into each other while dancing! She also drew me the best picture ever of an Alpro Yogurt!
Ellie James - I love Ellie, I do! She's so talented, and really pretty! I'm immensely jealous of her talents! She's really nice, and if you ever need advice, she can give it to you without being overly serious or without being too silly! We've been friends for quite a while, and we saw a few gigs together, which was so much fun! She makes me smile! Izzy Thomas - Aaah, I do love Izzy! I named Exmouth after her, I don't call it 'Exmouth', I call it Izzy-Land, because she owns it all! We met Robots In Disguise, Pete from Dixons and Master Shortie together, muahah! One of the best nights of my life, that Robots gig! I think Izzy is really talented and should carry on with her singing and playing guitar, she's an amazing example of 'if you put your minds to things, you will succeed', whether it's being on youtube, or having Dee Plume and Sue Denim telling you they watched your videos!
